What We Do
We offer a range of services, from your yearly comprehensive eye exam to ocular disease tests, along with specialized vision correction and vision therapy. Our eye doctors use the latest technology combined with our clinical training and expertise to treat anything from eye disease to vision problems such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes, low vision rehabilitation, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
We practice optometry on patients of all ages and can handle not only primary eye care needs, such as annual eye exams, vision screening, and eyewear fitting, but also complex eye diseases and eye health services as well. Our specialized care can detect and diagnose vision problems related to diabetes and other diseases, provide treatment for eye infections, prescribe medications, and provide medical care, and any other vision care you may need.

About
Dr. Nora Gindi
Dr. Nora Gindi is a Board Certified Optometric Physician. Her optometric education includes an
undergraduate degree in chemistry from York College in 1978 & her doctorate of optometry from
the Illinois College of Optometry in 1984. Following her graduation, Dr. Gindi completed her
postgraduate studies in vision therapy, low vision, & specialty contact lenses. While establishing
her Clearwater private practice in 1986, Dr. Gindi served as an adjunct professor in advanced
contact lens care education at St. Petersburg College. Additionally, she has been a guest
lecturer at several hospitals & schools across the Tampa Bay area.
Dr. Gindi’s optometric experience over the last 30 years has encompassed a wide range of
treatment modalities including vision therapy, glaucoma management, dry eyes therapy,
refractive surgery (LASIK) management, cataract evaluation & management, low vision, general
& specialty contact lens fitting, light photo-therapy (syntonics), and nutritional and functional
medicine intervention.
Dr. Gindi’s professional affiliations include the Pinellas Optometric Association (POA), Florida
Optometric Association (FOA), American Optometric Association (AOA), the College of
Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association
(NORA). When she is not busy seeing patients, Dr. Gindi spends her free time exercising, playing tennis,
learning and keeping updated on medical topics, and enjoying time with her family and friends.

Victoria works with many of the specialty patients that come to the practice needing more than just a stylish new pair of glasses. Victoria studied business at USF and is a COVD trained therapist. She has been working alongside Dr. Gindi at Healing Eye Care for over 7 years and wears many hats at the office. There isn’t anything at the office she isn’t willing and able to do. When not helping patients and supporting her team, Victoria loves spending time with her dog, and two cats. Victoria loves going to the beach, outdoor activities, volunteering, and spending time with her family.

With over 17 years of eye care experience, covering every facet of the optical industry. Kevin is a wealth of knowledge in optics, a self-proclaimed “Eyeglass Geek”. Kevin delivers the highest caliber of expertise, quality, and trustworthy care that our patients have come to expect at Healing Eye Care. Kevin moved to Florida over a decade ago, but if you catch him on a good day he still has some of his New England accent left-ovah! When Kevin isn’t at the office, he loves fishing, playing guitar, and going to the gun range with his friends.
